Saliva pH spit kit a useful measure

Two-time Nobel Laureate Linus Pauling once said, "Every disease and every ailment is linked to a mineral deficiency." and an eastern European study ratified his comment by showing the harder the water, the longer the lifespans of the residents. So much for the distilled water hoax, huh?

The more concentrated hydrogen becomes in your body, the more acidic you become. The less concentrated the hydrogen is in your body, the more alkaline you become. The measure of hydrogen concentration called pH. On a standard pH chart, 7.0 is neutral. Anything below this is acidic to the human body and anything above it is alkaline to the human body.

Urine blood pH are not a reliable indicator of the intracellular pH, but a saliva pH reading will help one determine with a good degree of accuracy if a body is too acidic or too alkaline. Alkalosis is rare, but acidosis is a major problem and an underlying condition in disease.

As we age, our diet and water intake either keeps us physically alkaline or makes us acidic. Clearly, alkaline is better, and of the acid producers, the sugars and starches are the main offenders, unlike fruits and tropical fruits which start out acidic when eaten but produce alkaline salts due to their high potassium content (electrolyte benefit).

The main reason that we need a slightly alkaline system boils down to one of oxygen levels. Acidity is the immediate effect of reduced oxygen levels at the cellular level and two-time Nobel Laureate, Otto Warburg, who was the only person to be voted twice in medicine, stated that ANY substance that lowers cellular oxygen to dangerous levels is a carcinogen. Clearing toxins on the other hand will raise oxygen levels, and raising oxygen levels will allow the system to clear even more pollutants. And alkalinity allows your system to carry more oxygen and perform this function.

If you get an aquarium test kit you'll have the most accurate results. That said, I like the pH papers that read in .1 increments, but I don't need the testing now anyway.

First thing in the morning, before you even rinse your mouth and before you eat anything, pull out the glass vial and spit into it until you have filled the vial with enough clean saliva, of course not that stuff at the back of your throat, which is acidic and will throw the reading off. If you are dry you are dehydrated and most likely quite acidic. Add the bromothomial blue as instructed, put the cap onto the glass vial, shake it up, and compare the color of your saliva sample to the color chart. Easy-peasy. The ideal reading is 7.2 -7.4 if the saliva is very clean. If you are in the blue, your extracellular and intracellular pH are both likely alkaline. If it is in the blue/green or yellow, you are below 7.0 (neutral) and are acidic (acidosis); 6.6 is courting cancer. Remember, a single decimal point means ten times the acidity.

In order to regain (or maintain) your health you'll need to kill parasites and neutralize their acidic by-products if any, bowel cleanse, diet restriction to almost no carbs, and remove most of the other accumulated toxins from your body. You will adopt a more alkaline diet, supplement maybe with 5 grams of calcium, almost as much magnesium and 5,000 IU of vitamin D as well as zinc, copper, potassium and all the other alkalizing minerals. The alkalizing minerals will help enormously; don't skip them. Fulvic/humic minerals come to mind for their bioavailability. Indian Shilajit for example is known as the "conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness."
